Statement of Faith
The following doctrinal statements express the foundational biblical convictions of Forever Light Ministries (FLM). While these statements summarize essential doctrines of the Christian faith, they are not intended to be exhaustive of all biblical teaching.
The Holy Scriptures — as the inspired Word of God — remain the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, morality, and conduct.
📖 The Authority of Scripture
1 Thessalonians 2:13
And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
Forever Light Ministries affirms that while many writings may provide inspiration or moral insight, the sixty-six (66) books of the Protestant Bible alone constitute the fully inspired Word of God, given by divine revelation through the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Scriptures are infallible, inerrant in their original manuscripts, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, morality, and human conduct.
The Bible provides guidance for the life of the individual believer and serves as a foundational standard for moral order within society. Scripture is sufficient for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness, equipping believers for every good work.

✝️ The Triune God (The Trinity)
John 8:58
“Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three distinct yet co-equal persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Each person of the Trinity possesses the same divine nature, attributes, and authority, while functioning in distinct roles within the divine plan of redemption.

👑 The Deity and Work of Jesus Christ
John 1:1–4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God…We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God.
We affirm that Jesus Christ:
Was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary
Lived a sinless and perfect life
Performed miracles demonstrating His divine authority
Offered Himself as the atoning sacrifice for sin through His shed blood on the cross
Was bodily raised from the dead on the third day
Ascended to the right hand of the Father
Will personally return in power and glory
Through His redemptive work alone, reconciliation between God and humanity is made possible.

🌍 The Sinfulness and Redemption of Humanity
Romans 3:23–24
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…
We believe all humanity is fallen as a result of sin and stands under the just judgment of God.
We affirm that:
All people are spiritually lost apart from Christ
Jesus Christ is the only mediator and the only way of salvation
Salvation is granted solely by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ
Genuine salvation requires repentance from sin and faith in Christ, resulting in spiritual regeneration by the Holy Spirit
Luke 24:46–47; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; 2 Corinthians 5:10–11;
Ephesians 1:7; Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:4–7
🔥 The New Birth and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit
John 3:5–7
Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit…”
We believe in the present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of believers.
Through the new birth, believers are spiritually regenerated and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, enabling them to live lives that honor God.
We affirm that:
All born-again believers are members of the body of Christ, the Church
The Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living, spiritual growth, and service
All spiritual gifts present in the early church remain available today according to the will and distribution of the Holy Spirit
Acts 1:8; Acts 4:31; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 2:14;
1 Corinthians 12:7–30; Galatians 5:16–18; Ephesians 1:22–23
🌎 The Great Commission
Acts 1:8
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”
We believe the proclamation of the Gospel is a central mandate given by Jesus Christ to His followers.
Every believer shares responsibility in:
Evangelism — proclaiming the message of salvation through Jesus Christ alone.
Discipleship — guiding believers toward spiritual maturity and obedience to Christ.
Matthew 28:18–20; Romans 10:9–15; 1 Peter 3:15–16
🌅 The Resurrection and Final Judgment
1 Corinthians 15:20–26
But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep…
We believe in the future bodily resurrection of all people.
Those who belong to Christ will be raised to eternal life
Those who reject Christ will be raised to judgment and eternal punishment
Christ will ultimately defeat every enemy, including death, and establish His eternal kingdom.
Daniel 12:2–3; Matthew 24:30–31; 1 Corinthians 15:12–57;
Philippians 3:18–21; Revelation 20:11–15
👨👩👧 The Divine Design for Family and Human Life
Genesis 1:27–28a
So God created mankind in His own image… male and female He created them.
We believe God created humanity in His image as two distinct biological sexes: male and female.
We affirm that:
Marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God
Marriage is exclusively the union of one biological male and one biological female
This union forms the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society
Human life is sacred and begins at the moment of conception, possessing inherent dignity and value

Matthew 19:5–6; Mark 10:6–9; Luke 1:41–44;
