Radiant and tightly bound, Messier 3 shines as one of the most magnificent globular clusters visible from Earth. Suspended roughly 33,000 light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici, it gathers hundreds of thousands of ancient stars into a brilliant, concentrated sphere—each one held in perfect order within the vastness of space.
